In the third quarter of 2021, the top five communication apps in Turkey showed varied performance across different metrics. Here's a closer look at the trends for Getcontact, Snapchat, WhatsApp Messenger, Telegram, and Messenger.

Getcontact from Getverify LDA experienced significant fluctuations. Weekly downloads started at around 673K in late June, dropping to approximately 98K by the end of September. Revenue saw a steady increase, peaking at about $12K in mid-September. Active users declined from 512K to about 306K over the quarter.

Messenger from Meta Platforms, Inc. maintained consistent download rates, with weekly downloads ranging from 100K to 115K. Active users remained stable, starting at 27.7M and ending the quarter at 27.2M. Revenue saw minor fluctuations, peaking at $73 in mid-August.
